Pastor Mike Harkrider has served Southern Baptist Churches in Texas since 1980. Mike began serving at WBC in February of 2018, so including his senior leadership at 3 other churches, he has served in the role of Senior Pastor for 35 years. His gifts include leadership, shepherding, faith, proclamation, unity, peacemaking, service, and mercy.

Mike is married to Pat, who serves alongside Mike in his ministry, specifically in areas of women’s ministry and Bible teaching. They have two daughters and six grandchildren. Mike likes the outdoors, sports, people, and spending time with family.
