The Relevance of Revelation

Revelation 1:1-8; John 1:1,14; Revelation 22:16; Philippians 2:9-11; Colossians 1:15-18; 1 Peter 3:3-5

Being exiled to the island of Patmos, the Beloved Disciple John was desperate for a Word from the Lord. Jesus appeared to John in all of His glory and presented intense revealing visions that blew John's mind. John was told to write what he saw and send the messages to the surrounding churches -- messages of encouragement and warning for all Christians, that they may be ready for Christ's eternal Kingdom.
