Jesus' Teaching, Authority, and Miracles
Mark 1:21-34; Matthew 4:13-16,23-25
Jesus honored the Sabbath by going to the synagogue, and as He taught, people were blown away by his power and authority in teaching as well as miraculous works. Mark shows us emotion regarding Jesus through words like "astonished, amazed, immediately, with a loud voice, shrieked, and at once."
