We all want to hear God saying, “Comfort, comfort,” to us, right? In Isaiah 40, the prophet Isaiah shows us where our real comfort comes from. It isn’t from the things we make, from the nations around us, or even ourselves. Our true, lasting comfort only comes from God Himself! He is what lifts us on wings like eagles.
